Afghanistan has been a country torn by internal and external factions for almost 25 years. These past and on going battles have left Afghanistan with many challenges which would be impossible to overcome with a people who have less desire and will for change and improvement.
USPI has had a presence in Afghanistan since early September of 2002 to help bring about change and improvement for the people of Afghanistan. USPI has security contracts with several international companies and organizations. There contracts include security for road construction, mine clearing and building construction.
USPI has logistical contracts for international companies in Afghanistan which includes sourcing and refurbishing housing, providing local staff and drivers, internet/communication installations, extensive escort services, and armed/unarmed static guards at both office and residential facilities.
These wide variety of security services are performed throughout the entire country of Afghanistan by 45 expatriate employees, 115 national employees and approximately 3,500 Ministry of Interior supplementary troops. Additionally, we engage over 400 vehicles to carry out countless functions in support of out far-reaching programs and responsibilities.
USPI has one of the few 24/7 manned operations and communications centers in Afghanistan which is supervised by an expatriate communications radio and satellite engineer.
USPI also has a guard services training office as well as a UXO/Mine clearance office and an air transportation (helicopter and fixed wing) operations manager on staff in Afghanistan.
