He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Life is eternal; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
R. W. Raymond

During the course of a war the employees of private companies are not remembered for their sacrifices and largely forgotten except for family, friends or co-workers. During the past years USPI has suffered the deaths and injury of personnel in the course of their duties.

We are grateful for all of those, who in the performance of their duties suffer injury or death in a land, for some, far from their homes and family, for others in the land of their birth. We recognize that each individual is also part of a larger group of family and friends who are deeply affected by the injury or death of the national or international USPI employee.

For each individual there is a reason for them to follow the path which brings them to this field of sacrifice which is as different as the lives of each individual who finds themselves in this field. We believe each person needs to be remembered, not only that this individual lived but also that they were ready to stand up when called upon.
